Moving objects create a nice subject and helps to hone a photographers skill and improve image capture reflexes

Above Images are captured on Manual Mode with ISO on Auto Mode

Exif Details Clockwise from top left

  1. ISO 2500; f/8; 1/125 exposure time; 55 mm; Canon 1500D
  2. ISO 2000; f/8; 1/125 exposure time; 55 mm; Canon 1500D
  3. ISO 1000; f/8; 1/125 exposure time; 55 mm; Canon 1500D
  4. ISO 5000; f/8; 1/125 exposure time; 55 mm; Canon 1500D

All images are edited with photoshop to wrt dehaze; exposures and contrast.

Important learnings while doing panning shots are;

  1. To keep focusing on AI Focus
  2. To have shutterspeed between 1/125 to 1/180 and f between 6.7, 8 and 9.5 to blur the background and get some nice bokeh
  3. I prefer to keep ISO on Auto to avoid lot of grains/noise in the image. However if you prefer to keep it on auto then depending on day time advisable to keep max till ISO 3200
  4. Meter can be kept on partial and composition can be centered so that a natural vignette can be obtained.
