In the previous post I wrote about plastic, pollution it causes and new ways we are endangering the nature we live in.
Lot has been talked about reduce. Reuse, recycle. Much has been implemented but we still are long from achieving something which can be sustainable. The above image is handpainted by Artist Shamika; she used a recycled paper and cardboard as her canvas to create this.
Humans are infatuated by excellence. So much so that want to improve the excellence to such a level which is not sustainable. In a way this hunger has lead to this modern life or we would still have been in caves eating roots and fruits amd wondering which mushrooms to avoid dieing.
This unsatiatiable hunger for excellence has created modern problems for which answer would be in further down this path itself, like a plastic which dissolves in 7 days. However the damage is done already which would eventually heal.
The way forward is only to be responsible, aware, rational about the waste we create and finding ways in which the same can be reduced, reused or recycled so that the natural footprints of flora and fauna will bloom everywhere.
