Tabebuia rosea
This flower is truly a treat to sore eyes!
These are rare flowers to see in India I guess. Have not seen many of trumpet flower trees around.
The blooming period is Jan/Feb so captured the bloomed flowers well in time during Jan’25.
The yellow gradient is surreal and is contrasted very well by white. When and if you touch it, the petal has velvet-y texture and I guess this would make nector grabbing a bit difficult.
There are several colours of this flower; but I love this colour shade. Although there is some shade of pink.
The full bloom tree looks beautiful when seen from a distance.
Trumpet flower can really be interesting choice to consider for fencing or welcome gate and in the bloom time it can really be showering flowers in abundance.
